Students present their properly groomed and tacked horse for a safety check before mounting in every lesson
Once safety checked, students mount their horse. They learn suppling and balancing exercises for themselves and the horse To warm up. Students learn that correct balanced riding will keep their horse sound and fit for years to come. We use the Dressage training pyramid to learn how to correctly ride and train horses.
Whether in the arena or on the trail, safety comes first. Our riders learn a basic balanced position inside and outside of the arena. Following the lesson, riders care for their horses and tack, cleaning up any messes they or their horse made.
