Vaulting is best described as gymnastics on horseback. It is one of the oldest known equestrian sports. Our vaulting class is a great form of physical fitness. Tuition Includes two one hour classes per week. Students will stretch, warm up, and strengthen muscles, cardio, and balance on the vaulting barrel and horse
Tuition is monthly and due by the 7th of each month. Tuition includes two vaulting lessons per week
First, arrive and stretch. The class will do some warm up exercises to improve cardio and strength. We will practice moves and routines on the vaulting barrels and the horse, rotating people, and practicing on the barrel when not on the horse. At the close of class, students will help put the horse and equipment away, and clean up the vaulting areas.
Students must wear leggings- no jeans or pants with buttons or snaps- a t shirt tucked in or work out shirt -no mid drifts- Vaulting shoes . If students will be handling the horse in the barn, or to and from barn, they must also wear boots. Hair must be neatly pulled back in a bun, braid, or pony tail.

We encourage all vaulting and riding students to participate in Horse Management classes on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays 4-5 pm
